Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Progress was a strange thing in a way that it could be measured even in the future. He had made progress though he had not yet experienced it; soon, he would, and the fruit of his labor would be free for him to pluck and feast upon. He had seen the world change if not drastically and yet he had not been satisfied with that change alone - more needed to be done. His mother had changed for the worst alongside his true father and his mother's mate. Perhaps they too needed change; change that he would bring... in due time, of course. After all, the burden of youth was still upon him and though he grew hungry for greatness, he was held back. But how much longer would they be able to hold him back? After all, spring was fast approaching.

He had left Caligula come morning once more though he knew she would seek him out (and find him) when she woke. It had been so long since he had seen his other sister, his Celesdue, and her chosen male, Phobia - but why would he have been seeing them? Undoubtedly they too were preparing for the responsibilities that spring would bring them all; Celesdue had been gifted already with the responsibility of diplomacy. She must have been busy. They all came seeking Iromar in search of Ruvindra's fate or the future fate of others and yet they found nothing more than the beautiful, smiling face of Celesdue. Ruvindra was smart but he was smarter - it had been, after all, his idea. Trust, too, was a strange thing. Counted before it was earned. What made them all think sharing blood came with a promise?

He crept over the stone tops, summoned by a stranger's call in the West. Strangers had become of great interest to him and the sound of a lone one had roused him from his thoughts. Though tall, Tesseract's form was lean and light footed - the stones held little hindrance for him as he jogged along, bridging each break in the surface with a small leap. He had spotted her in the distance - a smudge of black on his horizon - and he had taken a moment from his personal game of leap frog to release his own short, shrill howl of notice. Hiding was not particularly his forte and he seldom found reason to; she would see him, a smudge of white and red in her distance. With his call complete, he returned once more to approach though he moved faster this time - faster and faster until he came to a halt across from her. His own private stone throne separated from her by a small chasm; it was there he stood, the ridge over his spine illuminated crimson in the sun. Within seconds of his arrival, his lavender eyes searched over the girl's physique, taking in each and every detail they could. The flecks and rides of gold - the way her muscles lay beneath her pelt. As if a machine, each and every inch was observed and recorded. Even her scent had been registered before his features finally broke their stagnancy - a broad, toothy grin with a brow raised in curiosity.

"Have this lady a reason to call or does she simply grow bored of rocks for companions?" he queried, his gaze finally locking on to hers. Strangers had become of great interest to him but perhaps they did not feel the same when it came to strange boys knocking at their door.
