Adaptation is A free form equine rpg loosely based on the theory of evolution.
- Everything within Adapt is dynamic!
- There is no plot or land alliances that the player must conform too!
- There is no magic in Adapt. Evolution is not magic, it is the natural progression of a species adapting to their surroundings.
- There is the option of traits (such as wings, horns, gills, etc), which will help your characters adapt to their surroundings.
- Every player is allowed to play Adapt however they want!
- In Adapt, all lands are equal and start out as herds, however with the addition of herd members your herd can grow into a kingdom, to be ruled however the players wish it to be!
Create alliances, create enemies, create perfectly adapted animals to their habitat or create hideous deformed monsters adapted to no land.
The only restriction in Adapt is your imagination!
A strange island has been spotted off the northern coastal regions of Adapt. At it's current rate it should run aground within a seasons time but what will it carry to our lands? Friend or foe?
The beings of this strange island, that which they've named Abana are unlike anything to have come to Adapt yet. Within their cores they hold a way of weaving magic to allow their forms to take on and be comprised of any number of strange elements. Though these beings are fairly small in numbers their unusual abilities are foreign and could swing their landing in either direction. Will it be peace or war they want?
Our once peaceful free flowing land has encountered an odd group of beings which we can not truly hate, a group that is us. In all their unadulterated presence they come to us bound for possible war. We must fight for our land or perish knowing our duty has been yet undone but how does one fight something so unknown and full of magic?
