Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

CLEAR THE SKIES

Apache listened intently as Sulan spoke. The words that came from him were very relieving. Thank god for reason! With great defenses, their pack would be uncontested. With strong wolves, their pack would be feared. However, with their peace, their pack would be loved. It could be a flocking point for new wolves. The pack could peacefully become the dominant pack. Perhaps then, when Apache would be old, and Sulan older, Apache could put the idea of total domination into the minds of the next generation. With crumbling opposition, how could there be any major losses?

Then came thoughts of a different way. Maybe, just maybe, they could live a peaceful existence so that the next generation would. A simple life, but a fulfilling one. One where the highest ranking was Alpha, not The Great Ruler. One where the WPC did not exist. These thoughts were quickly repelled. They were treacherous! The WPC would march onwards, whether Apache wanted it or not, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. This was proven in the Civil War, where an individual riled up hundreds, but were brought down by the greatness of the WPC's armies. He may as well quicken the expansion of the inevitably ruling forces that lurked beyond the horizon.

By the time these thoughts went through Apache's head, Sulan was talking again. These words were important. Finally, came the words that Apache were looking for! Even more relief surged through Apache. This was a great opening! Apache went in for the closing of the deal, Alpha Sulan, I accept your offer, and I will defend your life and the lives of the next generation to my final breath. Perhaps there was some sort of humor in some of his words, but what he meant was totally serious. Apache was loyal to Sulan, until either the end of Apache or him, as long as it did not sever any relations with the WPC, who he would be always more loyal to. Or would he..?
