Instead she had thought he would simply push away what she had said and drive her back to the herd where she would just have to deal to with. To horde her like some kind of object. The very idea gives the mare a new energy to the subject, a need to make it clear that was not what she was but so far Vercingetorix had not treated her that way and she could only hope he didn’t start now.

Vivianna of course had not been able to read his thoughts but her mind had wandered the same direction and she had simply wanted to clear the air of that notion. To send them out because she was unhappy was surely unfair to them and even if he were to do that, Vi could not guarantee that would solve the problem. Instead she blamed it upon the memories of Kieron still haunting her and how staying here always made her glance to the shoreline for his red form splitting the sea. But always her hopes were lost and she now wondered if she were to leave this place behind if she could push away those memories.
“I had thought that I could handle staying here when you first asked us, but now I think that I was wrong. It is not just the herd that bothers me but the memories that haunt me among these trees. If you would permit it, I would like a new home……”
