Earthshine doesn’t fear. She doesn’t fear anything that can be created with hands. She doesn’t fear that which is created by others. She doesn’t fear others. It’s something that she was never taught, and it makes her brazen. The mare with the dark eyes that don’t dark can’t help but settle into the exact way she simply is. It’s the same way her father had been on these very grounds. Love and have no fear… she didn’t need to love, necessarily. Fear was never in her cards, so she just… didn’t. It was easier that way.
“I don’t have eyes in the back of my head, Solgar.” It’s a dry comment, and she reaches around to grab for one of the stallion’s ears, his forelock. It’s something that comes only playfully, lacking any sort of aggression or fear response. Again with that fear thing. Earthshine found it so much easier to just mess with the roan. It’s up until now that she’s flatly ignored Winter… something about petty remarks and an even pettier screwed up face wouldn’t come so easily from the mare. No, she’s here for a reason, and she will continue on with her reasoning. She’d intruded on a moment, and she would continue to do so.
She carried herself like an alpha all on her own—hell, she had a home of her own to lead. Earthshine had been a leader, and she would continue to. It was something that she embraced with both arms wrapped around everything. Such was her world. Once the introductions from father to daughter and daughter to father have been made, Earthshine shifts and speaks again. “I told you that I’d stay as long as I could… the Hills have been returned to my command. I’m here to formally request an alliance.” The mare’s posture makes it clear—she’ll continue to come and go as she pleases, no matter what happens.
