Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

calista

Oh yes, kindness! It was all too obvious on the stranger's face - like Calista's own, it radiated with warmth and it made her squirm with joy. For five years she had not been exposed to the badlands or sinister nature of some wolves' psyches - she was naive, as innocent as a pup and indeed, she found herself just as overjoyed by the prospect of a new friend as ever. This place had been where she had met Lynk, too, though he had been so adventurous - she had not seen him for so long but she imagined him leaping from rock to rock or sprinting through the forests. He was a free spirit and free spirits could not be tied down but this one, she was Diveen and she was kind. One trait would have been enough to make Calista's day but two, together, now that was a true bonus! She could hardly contain her excitement - tail waving, ears pricked and teeth shown in an earnest grin as the other spoke. Katsumi.

"Yes, yes, Isola is being my elder sister! She is most kind and I am glad that you is chosen her to be your Queen - is you enjoying Diveen?" she gushed, her ears suddenly flickering back in embarrassment as she once again leaped over her introduction - it was common; sometimes she was simply too excited and forgot pleasantries or formalities. Her father would have cursed just how unlady-like she could have been at times.

"I am Calista of Spirane, yes, it is most big mountain," she motioned out over the landscape where, far in the distance beneath the haze of blue, the central peak of Spirane could be observed. In the winter, it had been covered with cornice but come spring, it was a proud peak of blackened stone - it stood out as a reminder of the calamity that had taken place but three years ago. She puffed out her chest slightly as she spoke of her home before being subdued by Katumi's words once more - her head tilted, her mind half scattered. Where was she hea... oh - right! Diveen, heh. She'd almost forgotten but now it made full sense - she was going to see her precious little neices and nephews!

"To Diveen is where Calista is headed! Do you wish to come? I will show you nieces and nephews of mine - oh, they is being so cute I am sure. Come, come, we have so many things we can discuss!"

With that, she was bouncing on her paws once more, dancing from one side to another in anticipation of her new companion. Once Katsumi rose and prepared for their journey, Calista would begin on their way, never straying too far behind or in front - she liked to walk beside, for they were equals no matter what her Pater would say. Angels were not by birth but by actions and Katsumi was so kind then surely she must have been just like Calista!

"So where is you coming from? Does you have a job in Diveen? I was to be a Healer once but now I am just Calista," she shrugged, her features still alight despite the disappointed tone in her voice. It was her dream, as had being taken by Moonglow to learn of the world but alas, so many others had such similar dreams. Instead, she was to simply be Calista the Calista - nothing more, nothing less.
