The beauty in life is love...

Muerdago looked at the mare, not protesting even the slightest bit, knowing that the mare was older. When the mare scraped her teeth across her cheek, her eyes lit up with rage, as if to say, Don't do that ever again. But, despite her rage, she did not strike out or anything. There was no doubt that Muerdago would have an extremely feisty spirit when she was older. Even though the mare did not know her, she didn't mind being observed. When Nymeria nudged her, she did not fall over, but swayed a bit before returning to her former position. No problem. she thought. If she asked her name, she'd say Muerdago, on her own. Only if her father didn't first. The little sable filly smiled as the mare stopped, looking up at the dapple grey and over to the younger, yet older than herself, filly. The young filly was confused, slightly, at the mare's actions, were they to test her as her father seemed to have? She didn't know who this mare was or what her intentions were, but for whatever reason, she trusted her. Her own sable coat blended with the sunlight that seeped through the trees. When would she see her mother? The main question was, would she ever see her?
