Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I was sore, but I needed to find food. Training was hard, harder than I expected, under my fur I could feel the fresh scrapes and bruises pulsing with pain, it was nothing, not to what I used to be put through. The soreness came from the constant motion as my teacher Amir taught me everything he knew to be a warrior. I rather liked the training, very quickly I was becoming obsessed with becoming stronger, being the best soldier for the Angels I could be. I wasn’t sure if it was loyalty for them, or to Amir or just my own selfish desire to be stronger so no one could hurt me again. So far everything Amir had told me was true though. Everyone, that I had seen as I rarely talked to anyone, seemed nice. They left me alone and those that felt like they could try to talk to me never bothered me too much. My golden form shifted slightly, nose going to the ground taking in the scent of a hare. I wished I was bigger, I was still growing, that was what Amir had said, but I needed more than a simple rabbit to fill my stomach after training, and being bigger meant being able to kill larger prey on my own. It wasn’t all that caught my black nose though, the scent of another.

Amir wanted me to be more open and friendly; though he never said it I knew he did. I am young, but not stupid, others generally only caused me only pain, I try to put the past behind me, but it was hard. I couldn’t let others in. Amir couldn’t even really get in, I trust him though, he had been nothing, but honest and upfront with me and his family, despite my distant behavior, treated me very well. Still being young also made me curious. The scent was clearly foreign and fresh to Moladion, I moved on my white toes closer to this other, tail and head low trying to hide myself slightly from view should I change my mind and carry on with my own business.

I come up towards the black strangers left side, I can tell his fairly well muscled, probably not one to mess with. I’m pretty sure I should leave him be, I am still not fully grown and while I have been training and my form muscular on its own I know I will not be able to take on the brute before me as I was. I backed away slowly, might bright teal eyes set on him as I did so. He wasn’t devoid of senses surely, he probably knew I was there, but I wanted to make sure that he would not get a quick hit in should he be aggressive.
