Came across some interesting info today....Back in the '50's or 60's a man by the name of Bob Belinda owned Chase Wild Animal Farm in Halifax,Ma. He had to shut it down and in so doing, he released all the wild animals; including everything from elephants,crocodiles and large cats into the surrounding area.The Halifax Country Club and Golf Course are now on those grounds.Apparently everything can be verified at the Halifax Town Hall.Certainly a possibility that some large cats were able to reproduce in the wild.
