During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

The pack’s sudden upset when Aindreas arrived seemed to greatly upset his Lord Serris, which the snowy titan regretted greatly. For the months that he had been a part of the pack, his loyalty to the Alpha was the only thing clear in his mind. Even his feelings for the femme was not clear to him – his emotions had been hidden away for the majority of his life, so the sudden outbursts and rushes of emotions were, to say the least, confusing. He couldn’t make heads or tails of why the fae, why THIS fae had sparked such feelings in him. Why just the sight of her made his knees tremble, and then the sight of her walking away… well that nearly broke him. Aindreas had not been a soft wolf since he was but a pup, having to learn quickly to harden up in order to survive the rough way of life. So the fact that another had such power over him made him feel weak. She made him feel vulnerable. She had made him whine like a lost pup, and in front of his Lord Serris, goddammit. And now her brother was threatening Aindreas with absurd accusations that made no sense to him at all. Above all, the accusations, at least from Aindreas’ point of view, were completely false and ungrounded. If anything, he could be making the same accusations of Genisys for bearing Aindreas to such a state of vulnerability. But to admit to such a weakness of love… well it felt nauseating. And yet he had spoken truthfully and honestly, saying what he believed was true – Exodus’ words were fallacies.

At Aindreas’ whine, Serris had turned sharply, and clearly was disgusted with the love that was clearly written upon the snowy titan’s face, and with the quarrel going on between the opposing brutes. If I return to a fight, BOTH of you are kicked out of this pack, do I make myself clear? Aindreas’ demeanor changed immediately, his hackles lowering and his lips recovering his ivories. The expression upon his face was one, perhaps not of shock, but to say he felt a bit disorientated may be more accurate. For Aindreas would never fight another pack member without Serris’ permission – even one who he did not particularly like. If they were a member of the pack, then Serris had accepted them and they were there under Serris’ permission and protection, to a point. To attack the brute in front of him, in Aindreas’ twisted sense of loyalty, would be as treacherous as attacking Serris himself. His arctics travelled to lay on Serris and his head dipped respectfully. “Of course, my Lord. So it shall be as you demand. Crystal. The other brute replies to Serris’ warning with a smirk and a growl.

Aindreas’ icy gaze flickered once to where Genisys had disappeared to. All that remained was the sight of Serris’s muscled form chasing after the vanished femme. I never thought I would see the day when another could break my sister. Aindreas turns back to the brute, now unfazed by the sneer that accompanies his words. Instead, he feels drained from the sudden rush of events. Congratulations, you’ve just topped what my father did. The dark brute sneers, and almost spits at Aindreas with each word let loose from his kissers. The snowy titan remains still for but a moment, and decides to let loose one more sentence while his uncharacteristic emotional alter-ego is still uncovered. “Brute, your loyalty to your sister is admirable. But as I said before, you do not know what it is you speak of. You do not know how I used to be – silent, reserved, cold. Your sister has changed me immensely into this blithering idiot that stands before you now. I love… I love… I love her. Quite ardently. And because of it I showed weakness before Serris, the one to whom I have been most loyal to. She is the one who has broken me by not returning my affections. ” And that one prolonged, lengthened speech seemed to terminate his emotions. A stoic mask slowly crept its way onto his face, the snowy titan regressing to the impassive lupine that he had once been.

My name is Aindreas, though you care naught.” His icy gaze stayed upon the brute for but a moment before he turned head to tail and walked off, his goal being what he had been doing before this mess. Before he had become feeble. He had been ranked. He had duties. There was a border to patrol.
