if somehow she could go back to the day she was born with her twin by her side, she'd defiantly wouldn't be here. Her future self would tell her past self of every hardship she would go through. The loss of a mother and later on a sibling, her lack of speech, and then down to the one thing she could never have, a foal. She had made herself a promise that she would not be tied in with such a creature, a thing that could be so demanding, so curious. It saddened Co that she would never be able to teach any of her children, if she had any, or simply soothe them with the tone of her voice. She knows now, with this small foal in front of her, that her promise is now broken and she must face her greatest fear.

Lowering her face once more, she stares into the waking child's eyes. Chocolate orbs gaze curiously back at the colt and Co huffs out a heavy breath that blows across his little face and body. It was a mere friendly gesture as she pulls away soon after, urging the colt to stand with a toss of her head in an upward motion and impatiently stomping her hoofs into the ground. Now that he was up she could move him someplace safer, more near the herd. Surely torix would know who the mother was, if not....

Co's eyes take on a more saddened look, knowing that if he truly had no mother he'd be paired with a mare that was producing milk. Here was another thing yet again going to be taken away from her. If she could, she'd forbid such a thing from happening, but this was a child who needed proper care. She would not be so selfish. For now, she could at least be doing her leader a favor by watching over his son. Moving her legs, she turns to head back the way she came, stopping once to see if he was going to follow and then again stopping when she reached the break in the thicket, head turning and eying the leggy foal. Her lips were turned up at the corners in a small smile, simply watching him.
