A planet- Shahdi- in a modern time frame had always known of the impenetrable fog that lay over the region of the Southern Sea. No technology, or weather device could see through it or get past it….until recently the fog had vanished. Beyond the fog there were islands full of tribal humanoids of many dialects. They looked and spoke like savage human-beings, but they possessed powers measurable beyond scientific possibilities. These people can shift forms and become animals, they can possess the powers of nature and bend forces of the planet. Some of them, even immortal.
We start, at year one of a New Age in which marks the first time the history of 4 trillion years of life on this planet; the tribal world and the modern world collide…. and so far not for the better.
The modern world [Paldia, Ubalek and the countries of the Western Hemisphere of Shahdi]
The modern world faces a controversial initiative in response to the hostility and overwhelming power of the tribal shifter species. Some agreed with their governments that the danger of the uncivil species were too reckless and must be annihilated, while few less protested that it was unnecessary genocide. The western hemisphere of Shahdi is shared by few continents, but ruled mainly by the country of Paldia which has been straining foreign relationships with its strong army and ability to annex smaller countries (such as Ubalek).
The Tribal World[Tshaal, Kyrigul, Saori’i and the islands of the southern sea region]
The tribal world faces a grave choice between the leaders of their ancient traditions: Follow the ancient dragon gaurdians of the Shahdi or immortal shifters that had lead the shifter kind to greatness? The divide has been made between their beliefs and their trusts.
