The old confirmations have been conveniently "forgotten". They now simply say there is and has never been proof, and the DNA found at quabbin was an "escaped pet". Now anyone that has lived in Mass. for a long time knows, this is hogwash. There were other confirmations of tracks and the like made out in Western MA through the years, and the 1927 Mass Wildlife publication talks about a cat that hung out on a farm in Huntington for a time. They will be becoming more common in the coming years, so keep your eyes open and cameras ready. Replies:
