VERY true! I went to a presentation by the Cougar Fund two years ago in Burlington, VT. The man in charge of the organization believed that mountain lions seen here in the east coast all migrated from the west through Michigan into Canada and then back into the US through NY.(if I can remember correctly?) I do believe that to a certain extent. That is the route that the mountain lion killed in CT a few years back had made. I think that many mountain lions migrate to the east in order to survive all the forest fires and droughts the west has. However, I also believe that native mountain lions do live here in the east of course! Replies:
