GUIDELINES

- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
Six impossible things.

Six impossible things...

The two horses standing before her were friendlier than she might have expected coming from the inhabitants of a territory she was intruding upon. However, this was certainly not a bad thing, and as they spoke kindly to her Jessa felt herself brighten back to her normal, social state.

“Thank you,” she said to both of them, “very much. I appreciate it, truly.” Her head rose a bit and she stood a little taller, trying not to slouch so much. Her muscles hadn’t lost their tiredness, but even just standing still and out of the water had helped.

Looking to her left and a little past Lily and Gnome, Jessa spotted a spindly tree a few yards from where the grass met the sand. Nodding to the two, she headed in its direction, hoping to sleep for a little while; it looked like a comfortable place for a nap. She didn’t feel unwelcome in the prairie, but she didn’t exactly want to strut right in and make herself comfortable in the middle of everything. That was probably rude. So she made her way to the scant shade the tree provided and dropped to her knees with a tired sigh.

OOC: sorry this took so long, and is so short! I'm going away for a couple weeks this Sunday so I've been getting ready for that, and I figured this would be a decent place to stop until I get back. (:
