forbidden seas

She's spent about a week in this desolate place. The still of the air reminded her of some of the places among her home, and so she became comfortable quickly; even in the face of everything being so new and so uncertain. She could feel the graininess of the sand shift some, uncertain by her weight but (mostly) supportive. She thinks little of it, though. It encouraged her instinctive nature to shift her weight to something more comfortable while she chewed on some sweet sea-side grass (which messily hung from her mouth!).

Her thought drift to the dun stallion who brought her to this chilly place. Her steely eyes focus on the distant horizon, watching was tufts of waves lick at the sky hungerily. In some ways, it reminded her of him. She wasn't exactly sure what, or if it was just because part of her missed his company already. A sigh escaped her when her mouth no longer was filled with grass. Instead of searching for the dun stallion, she thought it best to wait for him. She didn't want to be sought out by anyone else.

At least, not yet.
