The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

What Is This World Coming To? [Eric]

It hurt. Plain and simple. Cade tried her best to ignore the pain like she had been taught, but damn if she put even the slightest bit of weight on it, the pain raced right up her limb and into her thigh with an aching hunger in its rush to deliver agony. The twit she felt certain she had killed hadn't left her unscathed. Despite having a broken bone in her lower leg, she was proud of herself. After all, she had castrated the larger male with her bare teeth. Not that it had tasted good doing so, but at least she knew he would never have the chance to reproduce. That thought in and of itself was satisfying enough for her to over come the pain as she hobbled back to her home, victorious but tattered. In the moments that her mind won out over the pain, she considered what she should do now. Running down prey was out of the question, despite the fact that her stomach growled irritably at her. Maybe Eric would be willing to fetch her something. Though it would be just like him to watch her suffer before bothering to contemplate her request. Regardless, she knew her brother was probably too irrate with her to bother and asking her mother to do anything for her would be like talking to a brick wall. Or Seline would do it but require something in return and Cade wasn't in the mood for begging, borrowing, or stealing.

Settling on Eric, Cade allowed her occasional single-mindedness to take over. Putting one paw after the other (of course limping with the injured hind leg), she managed to cross the scent border to Andere before letting out a long, frustrated huff and dropping to the ground. By rights, she should be standing when Eric found her, asserting her authority and dominance, not that she thought she was truly more dominant than the white vampire wolf. Still, as queen, she should show her rank in greeting, but Cade was to tired to care at the moment and instead, made herself as comfortable as she could on the hard ground before tilting her skull back slightly and calling for her...what was he anyway? while she had romantic ideas about him, she found herself severely jealous of her mother's interest in him and didn't know how to deal with it. She also had no clue if he felt anything towards her, other than maybe amusement. She knew that if he chose to leave, there would be no way she could stop him, so something about her must have enticed him to stay since he had followed her home all that time ago...

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she allowed the sound of her voice to pour out. She added that he'd better bring something to eat. 'Or I'll kick his ass' she thought to herself as an add on before snickering and sighing. Now for the waiting part, something she rather hated and had never outgrown. Patience was hard to come by when your mother never displayed any and therefore never passed on the virtue.
