During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Miya is not sure how he will react. Uncharacteristic anxiety is riddling her mind, and she's doing her best to keep her gaze focused on him. He's intent in his listening, not interrupting her once. No look of surprise or disgust or anything of the sort flit across his expression. Instead, he looks like he's going to say something, or lean forward by the tell tale tensing of his muscles. But just as quick as it had come, the gesture passed. The boy was turning away from her, and for one solid, terrifying moment- Miya truly believed Noche was going to turn away from her- walk away. And then his hackles are raising and the scent of another slams into her senses. Reluctantly turning her gaze from Noche, bright, ghostly silver irises scan the trees around them. She spots him before he reveals himself, but her expression does not change. It is all stone and mask now, as it always has been.

This other, darker wolf approaches them swiftly with a sly grin stretching taunt across his muzzle. It is not only his raised tail that tells Miya of his ranking- but his simple stance and his scent being most prominent here on the border. So, this is the new Alpha. Her sienna tinted gaze is focused on him, and only him, appraising him, observing, watching. His smooth, sauve words brought a grin to Noche's handsome maw, but not Miya. He of course jokes back with the Alpha, and the two seem to be ones liable to get along. As she had been just a few moments before, she was no longer. Ala Noche brought something different out in her, but with the appearance of another, one she did not know- and the Alpha, of all wolves, she had withdrawn and closed the door, so to speak.

Out of the corner of her eye, she can see Noche lowering himself to a crouched position, before giving his name to the dark wolf before them. It was only polite, seeing as the other had given his name just prior. Serris. A name not yet heard by Miya, but, then again, she did not meet many as many were not of interest to her. His words were sarcastic, full of something the silver phantom could only think of as sass. While from another it might have irritated her, it was actually rather amusing coming from such a high ranked wolf. The wolf- top dog. The only reaction she gave away was a slight tilting of her skull. She took her time in speaking any words at all, and when she did, her voice was easy, all melodic in it's low tone. "I would be Miya."

After a moment of speaking all she felt the need, she paused to consider herself. The process of such only actually taking a fraction of a second. "I know what you are. I don't know who you are." The inflections were clear in her voice, her bright moonshine eyes focused intently on him. She might have glanced at Noche once, but otherwise her attention was on the Alpha before her. Just what kind of wolf was he? Someone she could see herself beneath, or someone she had no interest in. Only he could show her which.

[ OCC: Oh dear. I'm so sorry it took this long. Been working 6 days a week and having some sort of a life inbetween! Hope it's not toooo bad. <3 ]
