Closing her eyes, Pyrate is long forgotten. Instead it is another voice she hears, one that she had not heard in many seasons. It quickly passes though, a frown being placed upon her face. She could remember that tone, the truthfulness in which he always spoke in their short meeting upon the Crossing but Yindy could not remember what the stallion had said.
An ocean of sand
Opening her eyes, the golden mare can see it. The stallion had been right, the homes upon Salem were nothing but a vast dry ocean. A small smirk quirks at her lips yet despite the humor she finds in the faint memory she cannot bring herself to fully smile. It was as if her smile was permanently broken. A sigh escapes her, the smirk disappearing as she looks back to Pyrate. A stranger, one she has no plans of getting to know. Yindy wondered if once he found she was not the shining new toy he seemed to think she was, if he too would just leave her behind.
“I will make due, I suppose” she replies, her tone dull and lifeless though her eyes had changed somehow. It was only slightly, a glint that could hardly be noticed but it was indeed there. Looking back out across the land Yindy thought the night would never could for her to see the vast ocean she was told it to truly be.
