My wife swears she saw a Mountain Lion in our yard in Wilbraham today. She knows the difference between a Bobcat and Mountain Lion and says this was a BIG cat with a very long tail. We live in Wilbraham, just off of Monson Road near the intersection of Bolles Road. She saw it near the pond on our property. There is currently a lot of land clearing being done just East of the pond with lots of heavy equipment, which may have displaced it. In looking on-line, I also found reports of a Mountain Lion being spotted this past May in Hampden. The location of that spotting is very close to where we live. Hope we can confirm its presence with photos or video. Replies:
