Indian Hemp has been grateful to Vergincetorix and all that he has done for him. Indian Hemp was likely to never have the talents nor the ambition to hold down a territory of his own. With what Vercingetorix has provided, Indian Hemp is able to have a family and a real place to call home. He was also given the opportunity to face and conquer his fears, and prove all those negative words from his step father wrong. Maybe someday, because of the kindness of a stranger, Indian Hemp will become a true leader upon these islands. But this is just speculation and acknowledgement of new opportunities open of for Hemp to someday take. For now, he is here, in the Forest, a picture far from the admired leader he aspires to be. To travel great lengths, Indian Hemp must take one step at a time.

The young stallion has taken to his new life well. The forest offers great shelter from summer storms and chill autumn breezes alike. Indian Hemp is able to utilize his meals for fat building instead of wasting his calories shivering so early in the season. Often, lush meadows, and leafy green shrubbery like that found here in the Forest, enable Hemp to put on a few pounds. He has spent less time in travel, and less time fidgeting and on edge. This has helped too. Indian Hemp will definitely be off to a better start this winter than last.

Indian Hemp has also grown out of much of his stutter. There is the occasional slip, but for the most part, the socially inept stallion is learning to speak like everyone else. "Thank you.", he replies, with words absent of stutter or hesitation. "You have been kind to me, letting me stay. I am grateful so grateful for it." The subordinate stallion maintains his pose, with head lowered and feet planted at a respectable distance. Everything about his posture speaks of a respect towards a lead stallion so much wiser, though not much older than himself. Indian Hemp can no longer claim to be afraid of Torix, but he still walks a fine line. He knows that at a moment's notice, things could change, and he will do everything in his power to maintain this status quo. Indian Hemp is content to be subordinate, so long as he and his family are safe to call the Forest home.

Indian Hemp intended to seek out Vercingetorix and ask him for a favor, but it appears Torix had similar intent. Indian Hemp is itching to get to his point, but since Torix found sought him first, he thinks it would be best to wait and see what brings Torix to Hemp's hideaway.
