Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

I'm beginning to feel like a Dungeon Dragon

She laughed quietly; she couldn't help herself. She could relate to his words at times. Sometimes she just didn't feel like interacting, preferring to be left to her own thoughts, and when someone tried to she'd snap at them; with teeth or verbally. That was the one virtue she most lacked: patience. Depending on the situation -and her mood for that matter- she either had the patience of a saint or none at all. "I know what you mean," She said, not pressing him or his name. If he didn't want to give it out that was fine. It would be easy enough to find him afterwards if she wanted to, just ask around for the beast with lavender eyes. Or, now that she caught a whiff of his scent, just search for that. "But in my experience, the ones who appear the most normal are the farthest from it." And it was true, too. The more someone tried to appear normal and unassuming, the more they had to hide.

She saw the look in his red-purple eyes, as if he wasn't quite sure how to respond. This told her much; that he wasn't well versed in social situations, preferred to be alone and that he may or may not be an outsider. She had quickly learned how to read others after setting out on her own. How a single glint of the eye could mean laughter or death. How a twitch of the lips could be amusement or contempt. To compound this, she had practiced and practiced controlling her emotions. How to beat the ones she didn't like down how to ignore them and not let them show. Where others might wear their hearts on their sleeves, she kept hers in chains. Normally, she let her emotions show, except pain and sorrow. So far she hadn't had a problem with the more romantic emotions.

"A place far from here," She said mysteriously, revealing her nomadic life to him if he chose to see it. She'd been on her own since she could properly take care of herself. Not because she was ran off, ran away or because she was an orphan or any sort of horrible back story. She had -and still is- afflicted with a terrible case of wanderlust. She liked -loved- to explore new places and go on adventures.

She continued to watch as he chewed. seeming determined to finish it off. If he didn't have a name for her to call him, she'd just think up one. She regularly gave her friends nicknames and this was no different. Nothing seemed to pop out at her though. She thought about Red, but he wasn't red enough. Lavender eyes just didn't sound right and she didn't know how well he'd take her calling him "darling" or some other other term of endearment. Normally she did so when she was being sarcastic or talking to a pup, but she did occasionally use endearments as nicknames. She scowled, deep in though as she peered up at him. Something tugged at the corners of her mind but not much, mind drawing a full blank. Close, but no cigar.

"Where are you from?" she reflected his own question back at him, equally curious about if he came from far off lands like she, or if he would even tell her. If not, then game on. If he could be mysterious then so could she.
