Calum let out a sigh as he took in Yindy's scent, it was comforting like it always had been when he was a colt. How could he have left her for so long? But he was back now and he didn't plan on disappearing anytime soon. Wait, maybe Yindy could come back with him to the thicket! He was looking to build a herd anyways and he would love to have Yindy close by, especially since she was all the family he really had left and family was important. Calum learned that lesson in one of the worst ways and so had Yindy he was sure. And what of her foal? Calum was going to be an uncle afterall! Now there was a happy thought, would it be a mini-Yindy? His sister had been the spitting image of their mother when Bali was still alive. Could the foal even look a little like their dead mother? Would that be a good thing? Or would that be a bad thing?

But Calum was starting to get sidetracked, he needed to focus. He returned his sister's nuzzle and took another breath. "I learned. After I was weaned, I got separated from our father and the mare that finished rearing me, ended up on the main land. It was awful Yindy, the horses there were mean and rough and then the other creatures would try to catch you and then climb on your back! I finally found my way back here to the islands about a month ago then started looking for you. I'm really glad you're here and okay." Calum pulled back and smiled. "I'm not going anywhere, not like last time. But I have my own territory on Luthien, why don't you come with me?"
