If you are an experienced tracker, contact the admin at ctmountainlion. There are a number of times one would have or will come in handy. There are members that have phd's and members that have experience with studies of cougars in other areas.There are members with decades of experience researching this subject, and interacting with wildlife officials. There have been suitable habitat studies, and examination of sites where cougars have been or have been suspected of being.There is interaction with several universities that have as well. Confirmations were made decades ago that now are not mentioned because they were tracks only, predating DNA and everyone carrying cell phones. And yes, some were in Massachusetts.
