About 2 months ago a neighbor in North Brookfield Ma claimed to have seen a mountain lion in their yard about a mile away from me. My first impression was that is was probably a bobcat as I have seen bobcats in the area. I am a bow hunter and practice in my yard on a deer size target. One morning I go out and find the target laying on the ground with its head torn off and the 3/8 of an inch diameter steel rods that held the target in place were bent at a 30 degree angle. It appeared that something hit this thing hard. Looking closer there was what appears to be a claw mark or bite mark on the neck which ripped a chunk of it out. Not sure what to think of this, any opinions? Replies:
