During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

The silver ess sent a smile his way but he didn't share the kindness for the was no reason for him to grin. He had family, but his father was far away and his sister injured. The one he had loved was gone, perhaps forever. She had left him. The one he had promised his loyalty to had betrayed his trust. Why smile? There was no happiness in left. Even the one thing that he still enjoyed - duty - was found to be lacking.

When he spoke of Kal and Kong, the fae seemed to snap internally, closing her orbs and increasing her respiratory rate. Aindreas' icy orbs merely kept upon her, examining her response, and he wondered why she had not followed Kong when he had left Munashii Gekko if this was her response to solely his name. Several moments passed in which deep breaths slowed the fae's breathing until once more it was under control. Her cranium dipped to him, and after swallowing many times much in the way that he had done before speaking, she let loose a whisper of a name. I am Miya. Her voice was changed, broken, unsure. This reaction was how Aindreas had always felt in Genisys' presence. Unsure of himself, not in control. Fragile. Naturally he had hated it, for his soul was that of a titan who thrived for complete control in life, for so much of his life had been hectic and out of control.

I know Kong. The whispers continue, full of hurt and pain. Knew him, rather... I lost track of him some time ago. Her gaze reaches him again, and she has an eke of hope glimmering in her gaze. How do you know him? Vocals withered away, most likely both craving for and dreading his answer. A sigh escaped from his maw - his job apparently had changed from warrior to messenger boy. "I was raised in Munashii Gekko when my adoptive mother brought me here after my blood mother left me. My adoptive mother then left me and Kalgalath adopted me... he was best friends with Kong at the time that Paranoia was Alphess. Kal left and I went looking for him... Kong left sometime after Paranoia's death... skip forward a few years and I found out Kalgalath is my true father. He is now Alpha of Aurora Borealis and Kong resides there as well, though he has been absent of late."

It was strange, the lack of emotion in his voice and upon his face. Was there anything left of his heart? Or had it battered and beaten and burned and scorned so much so that there was no sympathy or care left within it? The brute didn't know, but what he did know was that he was not alone for the first time in months. If talking would keep her company, he would not send her away. He wanted to talk to someone other than the ghosts of the pasts and the shadows that lived within the depths of his mind. But there was still some feelings, some emotions left to this poor phantom titan. Fear. Fear that the fae was naught more than a banshee that he summoned up from his own nightmares.
