I E R O N
The wind brought her sent to him before her dark form became visible behind the wall of snow. A female and one of a pack if his nose was correct. There were other wolves hiding in her scent, their musk thick and powerful, which was different than any of the other wolves Ieron had had the... pleasure of meeting thus far. When she finally showed herself to him the smaller male felt the fur along his spine prickle. The action was unconscious as the female produced a strange aura as her bright eyes stared down at him. Ieron took a moment too looked at her fur, yet another wolf with such an odd coloration. These dark wolves baffled him and he wondered how they every survived the heat of the sun. In the desert land he was born in, the wolves had light colors of russets and creams with only a touch of black. To have fur like this stranger's would mean death. Ieron watched her jump on the rock that was not doing its job of keeping him hidden with ease and skill. Then she landed down before him with perfect precision that made the male smile. As first impressions go, this shela was doing a damn good job.
Her voice, smooth like honey but with a hint of poison, spoke a greeting and Ieron stood to give his own introduction. "Well well, hello there. I have to say, I have yet to come across a wolf that hasn't been somewhat interesting. I have to say, the wolves of Moladion are a breed all their own. Oh, where are my manners? I am Ieron. And who might you be?" He was pleasant enough for now. It was too cold to be a smart ass and his curiosity about this woman was sparked. Thus far Ieron hadn't made any "friends" while he had been within Moladion and it was about time that he gathered some allies. One never knew when they could come in hand, especially in a foreign land like this one. The smaller wolf moved deeper inside the cave and beckoned the darker one to follow. "Hell is freezing over out there. Why not join me until this bloody cold passes? We can swap stories to pass the time. He said, with a sly smile. "Tell me, where do you come from?" It was an easy enough question but one could learn a lot about someone by simply asking about their past. Should she be guarded about it or should she be open told him just what kind of wolf he was dealing with.
