This cougar was confirmed in Michigan, (Marquette cty) in 2012. The Michigan wildlife conservancy got it on gamecams they put out after the state dismissed credible evidence in that state. This sure isn't any blurry picture. Ive had a hi res copy of the original, its stunning. The argument is on since like here, they have had sightings for decades. Some are saying its a transient male, others a remnant of an old population. DNA was recovered in one location as well, and two other photos from Michigan same year.
