Matanuck. I posted links to all the documents along with the names of the experts here. A gent on another site got pretty testy about that at the time. The base fact remains, numerous people SAW THE CAT. It wasn't a bear, and the cat dragged a 120lb deer by the shoulders a good distance and buried it under leaves. The teeth marks matched a cougar, and the witnesses gave a great description. To say a bobcat dragged that large a deer in that manner is ridiculous. This would still be labeled "a bobcat sighting misidentified", if the witnesses were not insistant that it be investigated. They KNEW what they saw. Sound familiar? The issue here is how many other sightings are being handled in this manner?
