Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Tundra bobbed his head in response to her words, “It’s easy to forget how dangerous it can be sometimes, what with the magic of this land but… the mountain isn’t always as kind as I’d like to think it is…” He shuddered a little at the thought. The storm that had separated him from his family didn’t bare thinking about, although there was a little voice somewhere in the back of his head that was crying out for answers; had his brother and sister survived, or was he the only one left? And why, if that was the case, couldn’t they have been spared, too?

Tundra tilted his head at Azar’s words, this was a new perspective for him to think of things from, he supposed, “I… I don’t think that makes you sound silly at all… I can understand you being interested… I’m not; the concept of vampires is… well, normal, for me. I can’t say that I’ve had any bad experiences with vampires either; my father is not a bad wolf… he just… isn’t a particularly good one. It’s… it’s hard to explain, I suppose.”

Even out here on the frozen outcrop of Ice Mountain, something about Azar’s smile made the brute feel warm, and he hoped that she would keep smiling forever; she deserved to be happy.

As she spoke, he felt his cheeks heat up in yet another blush; this was starting to become a permanent fixture when the wolfess was around, he paused thoughtfully, before saying, “I’m not really sure why I don’t socialise; I just don’t come across that many creatures, I guess…” he laughed, and shook his head, “No, fending them off wouldn’t be necessary; you’re my best friend, I’d rather talk to you than anyone else.” His words were slightly shy, but honest.

“I… I haven’t since I was last there… but… my mother is gone, she left a long time ago, when I was a puppy, a-and I don’t know if my father would tell me even if I could find him, wh-which isn’t easy…” He hung his head dejectedly. No; tracking down the vampiric brute would be a herculean task, and Tundra just wasn’t sure he was up to it.
