Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

She couldn’t help, but stare at him in a confused manner. Her dial would tilt to the side, the grey diamond patch that took over her ebony forehead shone brighter from the silver rays of the moon. Her half torn left ear was pointed towards him as she brought form to sit down. She wasn’t one that spoke about her past, much less, mention her parents that often. Yet she was puzzled as to why he sounded so angry at the mention of her Father and her missing ear. She heard him growl and at first her lips pulled back ready to snarl in retort, but she stopped herself seeing that his anger wasn’t directed at her. She would sit quietly and just watch him as he spoke of her Father in a poor light. She didn’t really care for her parents. After all they never cared for her, so she never did give them a second thought. She would move her shoulders forward in a shrugging manner, her voice cool and soft, as her cold eyes looked down at her paws.

“I didn’t know him well, or my Mother. Why are you getting upset for what he did to me, it is the past.”

If it wasn’t evident on just what kind of a home life she came from then he was clearly blind. She didn’t hold any sympathy or regret in her eyes or the way she sat. She felt empty and indifferent. She didn’t know or understand what she was supposed to be feeling about her parents or their actions. It was something she always assumed was how they were supposed to act. After all, she experienced nothing else. She muttered softly a phrase that the old one taught her in the cave.

“Praeterita est aliquid praeteritum relinquunt sit.”

She would bring her dial upwards, cold indigo eyes looking for emerald as her amethyst flecks seemed to flicker a darker color. She would stand up and walk towards him. Her body did not seem as hostile as before, rather she seemed oddly relaxed. She would circle around him once noticing his reaction to the words she sputtered out. She didn’t really use the language that often, it was never necessary. Yet, when she thought of the past, when she thought of her parents, she would get flashbacks of the old wolf that allowed her in the cave. She could not recall if it was male or female, she couldn’t remember the coloring of the wolf either, but she could remember the distinctive red markings. How could anyone forget the markings? She would give him a crooked grin as she explained what her former words mean, she didn’t know anyone else that would understand them.

“The past is the past, leave it be. That is what I said earlier…I never really bothered with it.”

As the brute began to answer her questions about his old home she stopped moving about and stood a few ways behind him. She was waiting quietly waiting for the right moment to strike. As soon as she attacked him with her own version of cuddling she couldn’t help but prance away, her sleek ebony tail trimmed with gray, wagging back and forth. She would tilt her head to the side curious as to why he was so upset. She nibbled the back of his neck, thus cuddling, and she didn’t rip his ear off. Clearly he should be pleased with her cuddling. She let out a soft snort as she growled at him gently in retort.

“If that isn’t cuddling then what is?”

Ah, but before she could say anything else she saw him fly at her. Bracing herself for impact, she was unable to scurry away, she felt his entire weight on her. Snarling, instincts kicked in, her jaw opened showing him her sharp rows of ivories as she prepared to really dig into his neck, this time wanting to drop blood. All four paws would kick at him, her claws trying to scratch into his underbelly, her agile frame moving back and forth on the ground as she tried getting him off her, but his weight held her down. When he lowered his head she felt his nose poking at her, digging into her ebony grey coat. When his neck was close enough she would try to clamp down, reading to draw blood. Yet she was unable to. So, all he heard was her growling and snarling in anger. She let out a frustrated “oomph” when he sat on her. Oh if only she was much larger, the she would have rolled over and sat on him and given him a piece of her mind. So she let out a bark, her jaws opened wide as she snarled.

“That was cuddling? You could have ripped my throat out.”

The growling remained and as he squirmed on top of her, still sitting on her, she let out a frustrated huff. Two ears flattened against her head. She never did crane her neck back, giving him a submitting position…she never would submit to another, and she wouldn’t be starting with him. Growling, annoyed she tried rolling herself over to get him off her, but it was no use, she was stuck. Stubbornness got the better of her and she finally went still huffing, almost playing her cede. She heard him ask her once more and felt a bit of cool air underneath her, she went still as she waited for the right moment.

“Well, it is warm, but it feels weird….are you supposed to be sitting on top of me?”

Before he could move she moved her back paws back and pushed her back legs, attacking his underside, surely in a tender position, knowing he would leap off her. Once she was free she rolled to her side and quickly got on her four paws. Shaking her body, as if she were getting rid of evidence that he touched her, she could help but give him a smirk, her tail still wagging back and forth in a happy proud manner. She was breathing heavily from the whole ordeal, after all she was panicking thinking he was going to kill her, because as far as she was concerned, his type of cuddling could have done that to her. Sighing she turned around and laid herself down on the ledge, giving enough room to her side should he have any interest. She would calm her beating heart as she looked to the valley below.

“Regardless of this meteor, this is a nice sight.”
