I looked over the land my tail waving lightly as I poise myself at the top of the world. My tail waved out behind me, my stark white moon like marking on the chest glowing in the light. My father’s mark right over my heart. I watch in silence for some time, the land that I was fit to rule if I deemed I should. Someday maybe, someday perhaps I would take a throne of some lands elsewhere. I did not wish to take the lands from my sister, she did deserve them, she was pretty great I guess. She was at least pure angel, white in fur and with her own angel mark. I was not though, I knew better now. I was still great, I was still very special. I was my father’s child and the only one left from the union of him and my mother Zen. It was this that made us so special. Saintly was with me still, though he told me they could not know. Not yet at least.
I hear something coming up the rocks, my ears flicking back and the smell of something rather horid touching my nose. It is a pack but it smells so bad. My nose curls up slightly my body turning and I see a girl younger than me and also looked a little like me except she had red points. I do not think anything of this, my nieces and nephews were red and black furred, but I did know that wolves of Iromar were this way too. The girl didn’t seem like she was mean or evil. She didn’t seem like she wanted to eat my bones either like Tobias the true demon. She was actually quiet energetic.
Saintly tells me to be nice to her, she smells funny and perhaps that is the smell of Iromar on her fur but I must act like a princess and do my sister justice. I give a little nod, telling Saintly I will but the girl would probably take it as a dip of the head as greeting. My tail waves as she was making her way up panting rather heavily which was not very graceful or lady like, but she was a little girl so she had time to learn. Perhaps I could give her some lessons like my father did, about proper pouncing and chewing and hygiene. Especially the last one.
She asks me what I am doing though in a most improper fashion but I will allow her that. Clearly she did not come from such a well fashioned bloodline as I did. “I am looking over lands that may one day be mine if I want them. What about you? What brings you so close to the heavens?“ I ask my voice is friendly my tail still waving lightly behind me. My bright jade eyes were set on her on golden ones I was curious about her even if she was of Iromar. Who knew perhaps I would be able to tie up these wounds by making a friend. I mean just because you had these colors didn’t mean you were bad? Or else half of my family would be bad simply because of their coat color.
