I took a sniff of the clean air. It was a little too clear. Perhaps there was another spring storm elsewhere on Atlantis. The sea certainly was a bit wild. If past was any indicator, there would probably be a storm along the coast later today. Eh, that wasn't as important as the filly in front of me. I would just go hang with Sahin deeper inland later.
So the girl was probably right... just got up? But... the sun was a good distance over that horizon. Who sleeps when there is stuff to do? Or maybe not everyone has my energy. But foals have pretty high levels so...
There was a sudden tug on my mane. I looked at the devilish filly just as she bolted off. Oh, it was so on. I gave a loud whinny and took off after her. Her strides ate up the sand, but so do mine. She may have been born on this beach, but I was raised in the sand. I chased after her, sand flying much the same way as we darted about.
I managed to overtake her after a while and playfully reached over to tap her shoulder as I slowed to turn. I took a moment to stop and look at her. I nickered again and waited for the filly to realize she was now 'It'. I loved tag. Or rather, any game that involved running. But this was a wonderful morning to do so.
