Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.
there's a glitch in the matrix

known bug: random pages showing as the enter page. the url for the page will show as normal (e.g. http://www.shamanrpg.com/versionten/sisters.html) but the page content will show as the enter page (http://www.shamanrpg.com). particularly seems to be happening on sister sites and reside pages.
if this happens, it can usually be fixed by refreshing/reloading the page (press 'refresh' in your browser or right-click and 'reload' page). if page doesn't load or problem persists, close the tab/window, reopen shaman as normal and re-navigate to the page you want. do not c/p the url directly for the page you want as problem will persist.
hopefully this bug will settle down soon. if you are experiencing this error please let me know on the chat board. in your post please include the browser and browser version you are using if possible, the pages which are buggy, what steps you used to fix the problem and/or if the problem persists in spite of the steps taken.
