Re(6): What do you think about this picture?

We get a few pictures a month sent in that are from other areas, photoshopped, and now an old one that is believed to be a stuffed cat that's been around a while. When investigating these, the first step is always to ground truth them at the spot. The fakes quickly evaporate after that and other steps that are taken. Some of the state wildlife agencies will help verify, some do not. The number that are cooperative is clearly increasing however now that evidence is increasing. We do have independent panels of expertise to call on as well. We have had some pretty convincing events, but without indisputable evidence, you wont hear us proclaiming one needs confirmation. There have been a few in Southern New England though be aware, as you can see with past posts.
