Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

In truth his life has been pointless but Warlow survived. He was a survivor. All it took was a sense of ruthless persistence to sludge through life. It wasn't much but it was all he had and he hadn't ever really thought about anything greater than that. To him being a loner did not mean that he led a life of hardship, it was just his life. Azuri might look upon his existence as something lacking and it was, but to convince Warlow of that would be a mighty endeavor. Still, he could be observant when he wanted to and the dignified air that she put off conflicted with her youthfulness. She had seen much and was not quite what he expected from his first observations. It was remiss of him to expect a vibrant puppy, especially considering he wasn't much older than her, but that was Warlow. Always placing himself into a different category.

Rather than give her whiplash his mood swings amused her. Even though Azuri attempted to smother her laughter before it could surface, perhaps sensing it would infuriate him - which it probably would - she swallowed it but he heard the vibrations in her chest. Almost like a purr. His fluffed ears perked forward at the sound.

Warlow grinned at her snarky remark, suddenly quite interested in the female. It had been a long time since anyone had taken his rude comments in stride rather than be insulted by them. "I bet you'd be faster than the hare I just ate too," he admits. He might be a bit gruff but Warlow wasn't into eating his own species anyways. Azuri steps towards him and his body tenses at the unusual closeness but he is ensnared by her offer. It had been a good while since he had eaten anything bigger than a hare with the exception of one annoying vulture but birds weren't as succulent a meal as a small deer.

"Warlow," he grunts in response, knowing she was smart enough to realize it was his name. For a moment he muses, his eyes shifting across her muzzle and svelte body. Abruptly he launches past her, close enough that his fur brushes against hers. His paws slam into the ground grinding him to a halt as he casts a look back at Azuri. "Come on then. Let's see how fast you can find us something." Once more he flashes a smirk.
