Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

The male had a lovely coloring to his fur but he looked so disheveled with his wounds that Natu almost reached out to lick his wounds; however, she was not eager to get her face torn to pieces so she refrained from any such action. Instead she takes a careful step back as Nanuk awakens. She notes the stiffness of his movements and the haze of sleep lingering around him and for a moment feels guilt for waking the poor wolf. Clearly he has had a rough time during his travels. Still he is in his prime youth and she wasn't sure how he would react to her presence at first. Her brother had always been a grumpy sleeper and a small scar on her chin atested to that fact.

But Nanuk doesn't lunge nor snarl. Instead he sits up and speaks, his raw voice ringing in the cold cave. In response Natu lowers her head to match his dip, a smile playing across her muzzle. Despite his wounds he shows no sign of aggression and she is pleased with his politeness. For every kind soul it seemed there lived a darker one - she was glad that on this day she found one of the kinder souls. "Hello Nanuk. I am Natu."

Natu finally sits down and relaxes her tensed muscles, glancing out the cave entrance to the flurry of white that drifted by. Gusts of cold air randomly trickled around the edges but they were far enough back not to catch the chill. With two bodies in the cave it would be warmer soon enough anyways. "It is a pleasure indeed, Nanuk. You look as if you have been traveling long and far. Do you hurt overmuch?"
