WAS THERE ANY QUESTION ON HOW MUCH I COULD TAKE-

It's okay for you to hate me
For all the things i've done
I've made a few mistakes,
But i'm not the only one

Skylar’s words that she was just tired didn’t exactly make Lyden feel any less tense. He knew that the contractions could start at any time and she could end up giving birth right here in the muck which did not go well with him. However Lyden also understood that child birth could take hours and he did not want to try and move his beloved somewhere else if she wanted to stay right here and be protected against the harsh storm. And thus, they stood quiet and close cuddling into one another and embraced each other’s warmth and company until the rain finally started to ease

Feeling Skylar move away from him left where she was, cold and tender to the icy temperature. His ears moved forward listening for what she may do next as his gaze swept over her stomach just in time to see her mucles ripple against her flesh giving it away that the birth of their second child was definitely here.

Instinctively Lyden looked around and curled his lip not wanting to have Skylar to try and have their child here. He however did not have to saw anything for the painted girl went and moved away from him on his own and instead of questioning her Lyden fell in stride behind her. His heart felt like it was going to beat right out of his chest when she slide and he rushed up behind her to coax her up the next time she fell. His breathing was shallow as his steps slide with the mud but he was lucky enough to not have fallen.

Finally they reached the top and when Skylar fell to her knee’s Lyden kept his distance to give her some privacy. He stood careful watch to make sure he was right there in case of an emergency but far away enough to where she did not feel crowded. His body began to relax as his audivties feel backwards just listening to the life around them, but most importantly to Skylar as their child was finally born

Turning his head Lyden watched as Skylar leaned to clean off the foal but did not stand. Assuming it was because she was exhausted Lyden crept closer but didn’t crowd her still. His vision narrowed through the dampness of his eyelashes just in time to see the foal try and stand. When it did so Lyden caught a glimpse that their new child was a boy. Shock came over him and Lyden’s eyes widened. Deep down he was expecting another daughter. A son Lyden didn’t figure they’d have until later on, when he was more mature emotionally. None the less it was a boy, and Lyden’s heart was pounding so hard he swore it was going to burst right through his chest, making the poor guy stand frozen staring at the little guy and Skylar.
