Something had happened. Something odd and unfamiliar. There were so many wolves and it had just been too much for the young pup to take. She turned to take her leave and felt a sort of binding upon her very soul. A heavy weight that seemed to pin her down and hold her there until someone could find her. Try as she might, she couldn't move her legs. Her mind was telling her to run, but her heart was telling her to stay. Something was going to happen and if she left she would never meet the one.
Being the daughter of an imprinted pair meant that Gaia knew very well what it was. To find the one fate made for you, to be with them, to know who they were. It was all very exciting and yet terrifying. It didn't take long for the boy to catch up. His soft and gentle whines let her know that there was nothing to be afraid of anymore and slowly she turned around to see her imprint for the first time.
Chocolate and teal eyes widen at the size of her new found companion. Though he is roughly the same age as Gaia, he already towers over her. However, he is not intimidating. His soft, violet eyes gaze deeply into her own and Gaia can feel a soft click in her soul. He is hers forever. A protector, a friend, and perhaps a lover when she was older. He had come when she needed him most.
Fear griped Gaia's heart and caused it to freeze with a protective layer of ice. The once kind and loving girl had been turned hard and cold. Perhaps her imprint could help her see the light again and if given the right touch, the ice would shatter.
"Hello there. I'm Gaia. Who are you?" she asked simply while her tail wagged gently behind her and her heart thundered within her chest.
