Oh,my gosh,Joe! That's disheartening news! I knew it would be a fight if they ever came face to face (if my boy didn't run off first;they really are gentle giants!)but I never would have guessed a coyote would be able to kill a Dane - they are so much smaller than a Dane.I guess they are pros at taking down prey.I felt they were much safer when I had two but sadly I lost my female in August.I get coyotes in my yard often and fox,too. Well, they have every right to be here so I'll just hope for the best!Thanks for the info. Cici Replies: There have been no replies.
