Perhaps she is unique. A quiet; gentle soul. There is no need to start something among others and only a want to be sociable. She was quiet at first. When you got to know her though; her personality changed. She became bubbly and chatty. She never tries to be a nuisance though for that only got you into trouble.
The choice had been her own and it had been a just one in her mind. The Rainy Ridge had seemed welcoming to her. She really wasn't sure why but in her thoughts, it really didn't matter. This was to be her home and that was a decision she'd made her own. She'd already gotten his blessing and so, it was final. It was official.
She is relieved. The smoky black finds herself smiling as she listens to his words. "I have no reason for them." She said truthfully. She had no secrets because he had nothing to hide. Not from him and not from the land. She listens to the compliment from his lips and she chuckles softly. "I thank you." She murmurs lightly and those eyes study him a moment. They are soft; they are curious. There is an intelligence in them and there is a kindness.
Perhaps she was a dying breed but she would bear it well. A darkness begins to settle over them though; there is still enough light to be had. There are a glorious array of flowers surrounding them and he speaks of these. Her deep gaze lands on the tiny array of wildflowers and she smiles. "The rains are few and far in between for a while then." She murmurs quietly and admires the beauty that surrounds them.
"Spring. It is a time for love and life." Something that she'd learned over time and it had stuck with her. Love was not something you just gave away though. It was gained through time and through patience. It was sought after when you got to know someone and you made a point of letting them in. Into what someone might ask? Well, into one's heart of course! When the moments were fully right, she'd let him in. They had only just begun their relationship as herd family though and she is willing to learn all that she can of him. Replies: There have been no replies.
