The swim was not exactly a blast but she could not complain too much. She flicked her tail as the droplets still clung and dribbled from her coat as she moved toward him. She had so easily hoisted herself from the blue yonder and effortlessly from the sands by the water's edge. Her rich gaze sparkling with curiosity as she comes up to him again. She moves her nose to trail along his pale; painted coat before she pauses up beside him.
"It was fine; hardly a task." She is young after all and that was a walk in the park really. She moves to follow him into the forest, the water still dripping from her painted grullo hide. Her eyes are taking in her surroundings now and she listens as he's speaking again. Forest of mystery huh? Intriguing way he had with words it seemed and she found herself chuckling just for a moment.
"Mystery huh? Tell me Lyden, what mystery does she hold for us?" There's a smile on her lips as she cleared her throat and nostrils flared to gather the scents around her. Foreign and yet; they would become familiar with time. This was to be their home after all it would seem. She wonders what happened before but she will not question him of it as it isn't her place. She doesn't believe it to be anyway.
It was the sound of his chuckle that had pulled her back in and her eyes find him again. She watches him; listening to the sound and it is soothing. There's a smile that finds its way to her lips again and she watches his own move. She flicks an ear to catch his words. It is gently then that her nose moves to press against his cheek for a couple of moments and the soft words float from her velvety lips. Her eyes show something of a trust that was already there. He doesn't seem to want to bring her harm and he is sincere. Fantazer knows that he is sincere.
"I have no want to leave Lyden. I have no need to." She smiles softly then as she looks away and around them. Their surroundings are unlike anything she's ever seen before but they would be home. "If the Forest is where we are meant to call home then it is where I am meant to stay. With you." She brings her nose back around so that he can see the sincerity in those eyes and realize that she's not going anywhere. Why would she want to? Replies:
