The smoky brute had been thinking of his family a lot recently and the guilt was starting to sink in again. He felt solely responsible for the separation between him and his youngest sibling, Rickon. The young male had followed Summer away from the dangers that had come to their pack. Other packs had attacked his, and his family had no choice but to leave, going off to help protect some other packs and to protect the youngest of his siblings. Summer had been in charge of Rickon as he was much too young to be able to take care of himself. The pair had been split up and Summer had not been able to find his young brother, no matter how hard he searched. The brujo had no idea if his brother, or any of his family for that matter, were still alive and he had given up hope on ever seeing any of them ever again. He prayed that they were okay and had found better lives than the one that had left, but he had no clue how to find out. These thoughts swam through his mind as he was resting in his den, enjoying the warmth that engulfed him in his smaller den and he curled into a tighter ball, as if he could hide from the guilt that haunted him.
The smoky brujo was gladly distracted from his thoughts when he heard the call of Darcia, his alpha who must be returning from the fight with the lupine who had challenged him. His ears perked in response to the lyrics of his leader and he immediately was crawling out of his den, not wanting to keep Darcia waiting. He trotted quickly through the terra, weaving between the thick trees that stood throughout his home, now knowing the land easily. It did not take him long to reach the clearing where Darcia had called his first meeting after he won alphaship of the pack. Summer was surprised though when he saw the black leader laying a steadily growing pool of his own blood, concern instantly expressed in the brute’s yellow orbs to see his leader in such a state. The fact that Darcia was here showed that he had won the fight, but not without some battle wounds, which was to be expected with most fights.
The brute noticed that Iso was there, the beta of the pack, but no others had yet answered Darcia’s call. He hoped that if any Misty would appear as he had enjoyed their trip to Cold Summers together, and he hoped to keep at least one friend within his pack. He didn’t dwell on these thoughts as he quickly approached his alpha, wanting to help with his injuries in any way possible. He nodded respectfully to Iso before turning to Darcia, dipping his head in submission to the alpha before speaking, ”Darcia are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help with your wounds? I do not know much about healing but I know some of the basics. I could gather cobwebs to help stop the bleeding if you would like.” His yellow orbs looked towards Darcia’s multi-hued ones, concern still on his face as he waited to see what his leader would have him do.
