wow, what an afternoon.
had fantastic views today of an american woodcock strolling up the narrow strips of exposed grass on both sides of Doyle Rd; it would stop every few steps to do its knee-bending, tail bobbing little dance
a little later, further up the road, a great blue heron was looking a little chilly standing in the water of the creek
even further up the road, a merlin powered its way across the field
on Victoria Road, a sharp-shinned or cooper's (it was moving FAST) crossed the road
