Pairs of wood ducks and hoodies on Grass River west of Victoria Road. Red tailed hawk on Ferma land east of Shrike road. I'd swear I heard a meadowlark singing 4 times, too, south of the hawk, but couldn't locate it -- too good to be true? Robins everywhere now, and geese staking out nesting spots. Also neat: 3 great blue herons standing in the swamp at the edge of Grass River, west of Vic Rd. Replies: There have been no replies.
