The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Her experience with Viora and the time after had been, well, enlightening in a sense. She had scrapped with her mother, learning more in the art of defending and fighting and she had seen how to enforce her will unto another with sheer force. She wasn't entirely convinced that someone like her could exactly force another to respect her - through physical means, since she had full proof that verbal means failed her - but at least by learning it, she felt a little more confident. There seemed to be just so much that she had to learn, and she was never certain as to whether or not she was truly capable of any of it. Alone, she was uncertain and just a little insecure. There had always been one wolf, though, that made her feel totally worthy of being Queen - Sinclair. It seemed that no matter what, he had always been there.

It hadn't taken her long after her time with her mother to find him, apparently too excited at the prospect of feeling better to ignore her desires to see him. Either way, he had been just as fast to invite her on an outing to the free lands, to some apparently new, unexplored place. Of course, that sounded alluring enough but... he seemed a little off, nervous perhaps, and that was why she agreed instantaneously. She hated the idea of her friend being troubled and hoped, some small part of her at least, that he had been inviting her out so that they could talk alone. She knew how nervous her father made him, and though she did not completely understand why, she had accepted that fact a long time ago. It was just how things were, just like how he was a part of her.

She wasn't too far behind him, only having been delayed out of requirement - she had to tell Maradona where she was going, with a teasing tone. No sooner and she was off, tailing Sinclair's scent with a giddy, bouncing stride. Despite her concern, she had decided the best way to go about it was to pretend like nothing seemed wrong - right? Nobody wanted to feel uncomfortable. Even she did not like having her personal space or feelings imposed on, so why would Sinclair? He was more... reserved, more passive. It just made sense to act like all was normal, even though she had now trekked into some strange place that suddenly split apart into a crevice. At the end of it, she could spot his all too familiar form. At that, her pace quickly sped up, a bark cutting the air as her tail bounced and waved behind her.

She bounded up beside him, spending a brief moment doting over him excitedly before casting her gaze into the abyss before them with a flick of her ear and a cock of her brow.

"How did you find this place?"
