Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Fatalé
can't turn back i'm haunted
She hated being pregnant. Honestly, the bay mare knew what was necessary to keep her own power in a group. Foals were the way to do that. She still hated the way her belly bloated and her steps became heavy. She hated needed to eat more and more and she hated that winter followed the season and that the grasses were so tasteless. The arabian was about half-way through her own pregnancy and her stomach was definitely full of a child even if she still was a mobile creature.

She was grateful that the Lagoon seemed to handle winter well. The drinking holes were not completely iced over like they had on Tinuvel and winter killed the most annoying of the bugs unlike Atlantis. She did not like that days like today she had to dig a bit to find the grasses along the edges of the pools that still tasted alright. The arabian moved about, and she was still rather picky about her grazing habits.

With a final swish of black tail, Fatalé looked about. The Lagoon had been quiet - too quiet lately. Stallions should be more entertaining than this. They normally were. Perhaps they had been conquering lately and felt this was the cool down period. No pun intended. She had seen other mares about with bellies that were expanding. None seemed as far along as her own.

Perhaps she had been first and that would be exciting.
