When one thinks Khirsath, they would normally imagine a quaint and small settlement, a cutely petite metropolis some many miles from bustling civilization. In a manner, this stands correct, but in another way, it could not be further from the truth. Supernatural have run amuck on the streets, high-ranking individuals among the Fae Council and the Wolf Pack were kidnapped and only recently released with a giant explosion of magic. Black shadows roam the avenues in response to a hunger for most anything with a beating heart. The vampire wizard - the cause of all the initial chaos - is also among them, lingering due to unfinished business.
Now -- The tide of change has overtaken the land as the magic takes root in the soil the glamour begins to settle, morphing into decrepit, wooden buildings and cobblestone streets. Khirsath, once beautifully sculpted with rising sky scrapers has now been transformed into a city straight out of the middle ages. An ancient fae relic is the culprit of such a change, having amassed a large amount a power the many years it lay dormant, one simple, ignorant move was enough to change the city. However the city is not the only thing changed, the people are not as they once were. Their memories blocked from them by a mysterious wall of fog, they know nothing of the change that has just occurred. To them they were born in this medieval European city and are none the wiser. Fae roam the lands without their glamours, their abilities unchecked by the decreased amount of iron in the air. These are wilder times, where dangers lurk around every corner and are not hindered by something as trivial as fear of the council. Here in this time, magic is not speculated on or brought up to scare children - here it is a real as the air you breathed and the food you eat.
