with a sizable blue jay population here i get to see blue-coloured birds every day but none of them can compare with the indigo bunting that was the first thing i saw this morning when i looked out my window
it did not stay long; perhaps it was intimidated by the great number of white-crowned sparrows that have suddenly showed up
at least 2 pair of rose-breasted grosbeaks are feeding hungrily and another towhee was drinking his tea-eeeeee this am
