The posting board can't handle photos directly like many other boards like this one. But it is easy to use a free site like Flickr or Picaso to post your photos then put the link to your post. It may seem hard at first but it is very easy once you have a web site set up. I don't think Facebook will let you share photos with this site but it may.
I do think that people would be interested in your photos. The species my be common in the area but finding a cocoon in good shape is not common and would help others know what to look for when out in the field.
